Job Summary

The Senior Executive - Operations (Warehouse & Cold Chain Management) is responsible for development and execution of operational policies, standards and procedures for the Warehouse. He/She monitors and optimizes storage and utilization levels making data-driven decisions to improve productivity and efficiency of the warehouse.

Analytical and logical, he/she is required to explore solutions and analyse the feasibility of plans. He/She is also expected to coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement processes and technology, and to assist in the management of the warehouse operations department.

Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)

Business Administration Operations 

• Contribute to recurring revenue streams
• Manage stakeholders to monitor completion of requirements and activities

Sales & Customer Service 

• Manage key accounts through maintaining close contact with stakeholders
• Communicate with key account managers to identify new businesses and grow relationships that assist in revenue generation within assigned verticals

Safety and Health 

• Manage WSH activities to ensure department's compliance to requirements
• Perform safety and health risk assessment

Transportation Operations 

• Co-ordinate overall transportation operations
• Optimise resource and cost management based on market practices and business environment

Technology Application 

• Plan key activities and milestones in technology projects
• Review areas in logistics operations where technology can enhance processes

Sales and Customer Service 

• Manage key accounts through maintaining close contact with stakeholders
• Communicate with key account managers to identify new businesses and grow relationships that assist in revenue generation within assigned verticals
• Analyse customer information and needs to improve customer relationships

Warehousing, Cargo and Material Handling 

• Plan the information flow for end-to-end warehouse processes from order initiation to receiving, handling, distribution and storage
• Execute warehouse operations performance goals using quality management knowledge

Job Requirements

• Basic knowledge of SAP/Warehouse Management System (WMS)/Supply Chain Software/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft (MS) Office/Power Platform Applications

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Business/Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent certifications
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Warehouse Operations/Vendor Management
