Job Summary
The Intern – Quality Management provides support to the executive in quality control activities in accordance to regulations and requirements for storage and distribution, secondary assembly and quality management system of health products. Preferably having basic knowledge in regulatory affairs and compliance standards to align the organisation's QMS with international and national regulatory standards for compliance.
In addition, he can recommend and assist the executive in continuous improvement and enhance department operations.
He/she is meticulous and systematic in carrying out his tasks and able to identify discrepancies in quality issues and suggest resolutions. He/She has the basic communication skills which enables him/her to interact with groups of internal and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)
Perform quality control activities.
•Perform day to day quality control activities adhere to production schedule.
•Perform inspection of incoming, in-process and outgoing products/shipments for adherence to quality requirements
•Propose investigation root cause and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
Contribute to continuous improvement and technology advancement
•Support research on product and material development to enhance product value for customers.
•Propose adoption of new technologies and procedures to support productivity and innovation.
•Perform and apply quality audit data for data analytics.
•Apply lean practices for Quality activities.
•Perform analysis gaps in Quality processes and procedures and propose opportunities for improvement.
•Propose continuous improvement activities and performance improvement strategies for Quality procedures, activities and workflow management.
Support work safety and regulatory compliance
•Support safety, health, security, environment and corporate governance standards and procedures.
•Comply risk control measures, gap assessments and corrective actions to align the organisation's QMS with international and national regulatory standards for compliance and improvements
•Adhere to ISO Management System processes and requirements
•Adhere to WSH standards and practices.
Others
•Undertake any assigned projects / duties directed by Management(if any)
Job Requirements
- Proficient in MS Office Applications / Microsoft Power Platform Applications.
- Knowledge on Quality Management system
- Basic understanding of health products supply chain
- Must work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Flexible and adaptable to changes
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience
- Currently pursuing Diploma/Degree in any Pharmaceutical Sciences, logistics, health science, Engineering-related field
- Knowledge in health products handling quality assurance principles and practices
