Job Summary


The Executive - Procurement supports the development of procurement strategies by monitoring inventory movement and reconciling supplies with established procedures. He/she performs forecasting, material planning and procurement functions in line with regulatory requirements, company’s Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance (ESG) guidelines and policies and supports vendor management based on established supplier selection processes and criteria. With a clear understanding of customers’ needs and expectations, the Executive - Procurement enhances service quality by identifying and recommending innovations to improve work processes and systems. He/she will support the implementation of technologies and leverage on data analytics to enable efficient green procurement operations.

He/she should possess strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver work outcomes. He/she is also expected to engage in training and performance improvement opportunities to meet individual and business key performance indicators.

Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)

 

  • Deploy organisation's procurement activities based on established product specifications and customer needs in accordance to company’s ESG guidelines and policies. 
  • Continuous review and leverage on the e-procurement systems to streamline the supplier selection process, improve compliance and strengthen risk management in accordance with company’s ESG guidelines and policies. 
  • Verify inventory needs by gathering inventory-related information from customers to determine customer requirements. 
  • Address customer dissatisfaction of products, service standards while working with relevant parties to resolve issues in support of company’s supply chain operations.     
  • Engage in On-Job Training (OJT) and performance improvement opportunities. 
  • Identify trends and patterns in business performance data using basic data analytics tools. 
  • Support implementation of safety, health and corporate governance standards and procedures. 
  • File electronic and hardcopy documents according to standard procedures and requirements. 

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office/Power Platform Applications
  • Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage

Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

  • Fresh Degree holders - Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement/Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Diploma (with minimum relevant working experience in procurement and purchasing of 2 years)
  • 1-3 years of relevant working experience will be preferred
