Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)
· Strategy Development & Implementation:
a. Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's overall sustainability strategy, aligning it with business goals and relevant regulations.
b. Identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement in environmental and social performance across various operational areas (e.g., energy, waste, water, supply chain, etc.).
c. Develop and implement specific sustainability programs and initiatives, setting targets and timelines.
d. Create and maintain sustainability-related policies, procedures, and guidelines.
· Data Collection & Analysis:
a. Collect, track, and analyze data related to the organization's environmental impact (e.g., energy consumption, waste generation, carbon emissions, water usage, etc.).
b. Monitor progress against sustainability targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
c. Prepare regular reports and presentations on sustainability performance for internal and external stakeholders.
· Compliance & Risk Management:
a. Stay up-to-date with relevant environmental laws, regulations, and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, ISSB, ISO standards, etc.).
b. Ensure the organization's compliance with all applicable sustainability-related legal requirements.
c. Identify and assess environmental and social risks and opportunities for the organization.
d. Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
· Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
a. Engage with internal stakeholders (e.g., Management, Verticals/BUs, etc.) to promote a culture of Sustainability and integrate sustainable practices into daily operations.
b. Communicate the organization's Sustainability initiatives and performance to external stakeholders (e.g., customers, regulatory bodies, etc.) through reports, presentations, and other channels.
c. Collaborate with institutions, external partners, industry associations, etc. to advance sustainability goals.
· Project Management:
a. Manage sustainability-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
b. Coordinate with different BUs and/ or external vendors to implement sustainability initiatives.
· Training & Awareness:
a. Develop and deliver training programs and awareness campaigns to educate employees on sustainability principles and practices.
b. Promote employee engagement in sustainability initiatives.
· Continuous Improvement:
a. Research and stay informed about the latest sustainability trends, technologies, and best practices.
b. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in the organization's sustainability performance.
c. Contribute to the development of new sustainability-related technologies or processes.
· Other Tasks: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
· Technical Skills:
o Strong understanding of sustainability principles, frameworks, and best practices.
o Knowledge of environmental regulations and reporting standards.
o Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
o Experience with sustainability software and tools (advantageous).
o Familiarity with life cycle assessments, carbon accounting, and energy management.
Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience

- Bachelor’s degree inSustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Management or Engineering with a sustainability focus, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in sustainability roles, environmental management and/or corporate social responsibility, with a proven track record in developing and leading sustainability initiatives/ projects and/ or strategies. Hands-on Sustainabilityexperience is preferred.
- Certification in Sustainability (ESG)
- MS Office - Excel, Words, PowerPoint, Power BI
- Work location : 60 pioneer Road, Tuas
